Dictador Rima I Vintage 2002

Dictador Rima is a follow-up to a limited series and a collection of vintages aged under the supervision of Hernan Parra. Dictador's Master Blender continues his masterpiece in a magnificent creation of rums aged in American oak and finished in port and sherry casks. Rima in Spanish means 'rhyme' and just like in a poem where you can find the perfect symbiosis of words, in the bottles of Dictador Rima you will experience a perfect combination of flavors and a unique taste experience.

 

Aroma: Freshly brewed coffee, ginger and some expics provide a good foundation before lighter notes of sweet bourbon, vanilla and kiwi fruit enter.

 

Palate: Some notes of earthy warehouse floors, drying oak spice and aromatic pine. Palo Santo wood smoke and a hint of dried lavender. Also sweetened smoked bacon.

 

Aftertaste: Sweet brown sugar meets bitter orange peel.
