Built on the border between Highland and Speyside near Huntly. The distillate is slightly smoky, which is unusual for the region, with notes of wood smoke, lemon and a light floral character. Aged in an ex-Islay cask.

The only Highland distillery to consistently produce smoky whiskey from its inception and even in this modern age, which is unusual for the region. Fully matured in an ex-Laphroaig cask, giving the spirit a very distinct Islay character that challenges the senses.

Tasting revealed - wet beach stones, turkish confection and grilled lemon, smoldering peat, blackcurrant licorice, salted caramel, lapsang souchong tea, dried pineapple and toasted coconut.
