A lovely smoky whisky from Caol Ila on Islay. Aged in an ex-Bourbon HHD cask for over 7 years and finished in a first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry cask for a further 3 years. Dried fruit and spices invite us and in terms of taste, we find grilled citrus fruits, licorice and ground black pepper.
