On the border between Highland and Speyside is the community of Huntly and the Ardmore Distillery. Here, a distillate is produced that is lightly smoked, which is unusual for the region.

This lightly smoked Highlander has spent its entire life in an actively refilled ex-Bourbon cask. We experience a clear citrus scent and a light smokiness that opens up lemon curd, salty biscuits and smoky tea in the taste.

The finish offers us the same mild smokiness, citrus and light floral notes.
