Lady of The Glen

Glenlossie 2010

Bronze Medal - 2019 Independent Bottlers Challenge

Glenlossie Distillery was founded in 1876 near Elgin in Speyside, with its own platform on the Elgin-Perth railway. The distillery is well known for producing a light and delicate spirit with a fruity sweetness, using water from the Bardon Burn for production.

This ruby port finish single malt Speyside whiskey was distilled on 8 October 2010 and bottled on 10 April 2019 at cask strength at the distillery.

This eight year old Bourbon aged whiskey has been finished aging in the finest first-fill ex-Ruby Port casks for over 6 months.

Our Ruby Port cask came from a family-owned bodega near Porto, Portugal. Ruby Port casks typically add fresh, sweet red fruit flavors to the spirit.

This cask yielded 287 bottles and is a rare Speyside single malt whisky.

On the palate you can expect flavors of nuts, fudge syrup and dried figs.
